Professional eyebrow hair removal – why is it so important?

It is said that perfectly groomed and adjusted eyebrows are the frame for our eyes. No wonder! Giving the eyebrows the right shape changes the appearance of the entire face, which, depending on the shape we give them, takes on a completely different expression. We can depilate both the hair that appears above or under the eyebrows and looks unsightly, as well as the hair that appears between one and the other eyebrow. Colloquially, fused eyebrows are called „monobrow” and can be found most often in men. Eyebrow hair removal can be performed in our salon as a separate treatment or performed together with other parts of the face (e.g. mustache, nose, forehead, cheeks). The treatment takes a relatively short time and allows you to get rid of unwanted hair for about 3-5 weeks. We cannot give an exact interval when hair reappears, because it is a completely individual matter and it looks slightly different for each client.

How to properly prepare for the procedure? Eyebrow waxing

If you are determined that you want to depilate your eyebrows or another part of your body in our salon, you must know that it is worth properly preparing for such depilation. Following the basic rules and proper preparation of the skin is the key to success, which will not only allow you to achieve the best results: a smooth, soft body, but will also allow you to maintain all safety standards. In our showrooms, we focus on quality. This applies to customer service, the products we use, but also to safety and sterile, hygienic working conditions. If you want to come to us for waxing, remember that sunbathing is prohibited a few days before the treatment – both in the solarium and in the sun. Skin that has been exposed to UV radiation may be slightly irritated and more tender, even if we cannot see it at first glance. Hair removal on tanned skin may cause side effects: hematomas and intense irritation. The same also applies to treatments that aim to exfoliate the epidermis. If you have undergone such a treatment, be sure to wait a few days until the skin regenerates completely. A few days before the procedure and on the day of depilation, do not use creams and balms that contain fruit acids. These types of products may also have a strong exfoliating effect, which may lead to irritation and redness immediately after the treatment. There are also some contraindications that should be reported to the beautician before starting hair removal. Remember that if anything worries you, you suffer from a chronic disease or you have recently experienced symptoms of dermatitis, inform the person who will perform the procedure. This will help you avoid side effects that may occur if the procedure is performed and you have any contraindications that you did not tell us about.

Eyebrow hair removal – tips

Before the procedure, it is also worth preparing the skin properly for depilation. A few days before, thoroughly exfoliate the areas you will be epilating. Use a coarse-grained peeling to help you get rid of dead, calloused epidermis and expose hair. By cleansing the skin yourself, depilation will be faster and more accurate, resulting in a beautiful and smooth body. The day before, you can cream your body with a fatty balm, cream or oil to keep your skin moisturized and soft. However, do not do this before the procedure! The skin cannot be excessively oiled during depilation, as the wax will not stick to it properly, making the depilation less thorough and the effect less spectacular. Also remember to take a close look at your body before you go for the treatment. The skin should be perfectly smooth, free of skin lesions, acne or bruises. If you have birthmarks, such as moles, you can hide them at home using, for example, a piece of plaster. After the treatment, it is crucial to thoroughly protect the skin and protect it against possible irritations. For this purpose, use a soothing cream or balm, in our salons we recommend e.g. sudocrem.
