2. Refusal to carry out the Treatment for the reasons indicated above does not constitute improper performance of the agreement.
- COURSE OF TREATMENT
- Only one client is allowed in the treatment room at a time.
- For safety reasons, we do not accept children entering the treatment room. If the type of treatment requires it, you are obliged to prepare yourself for the treatment and to wear disposable underwear.
- Before a treatment, our staff will ask you to leave your clothes and handbag in the designated area (coat rack, chair). Due to the nature of the treatments and the limited space in the treatment area, despite the utmost care, nearby items such as depilation wax may be damaged or contaminated. Therefore, please do not bring any valuables to the place of the treatments and please be informed that we are not responsible for any damage, destruction or loss of such items.
- During the course of the Treatment, always inform our staff if you feel unwell.
- Strictly comply with the instructions given by our staff and indicated in the Treatment card.
- During the Treatment, your mobile phone and other electronic devices, such as headphones, should be kept out of the Treatment area. Time for Wax is not responsible for damage to these while you are in the treatment box.
WAX DEPILATION
- RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE WAX DEPILATION
- At least two days before your Wax Depilation Treatment, do not use a solarium or sauna and do not sunbathe.
- One day before your Wax Depilation Treatment, perform a body scrub.
- For satisfactory results of Wax Depilation, hair should be between 0.5 cm-1cm in length. If the hair is longer, you should cut it yourself at home to the indicated length before the treatment.
- On the day of the treatment, do not use oily creams, lotions or oils on the epilated part of your body.
- To prepare for your Bikini Depilation, use a bidet and take care of the hygiene of your intimate areas and all parts of your body.
- Before scheduling your appointment, make sure that your health condition allows you to safely perform the Wax Depilation Treatment. Chronic illnesses or medications you are taking on a regular basis can cause skin sensitisation and may be a contraindication to your waxing treatment. If you are currently diagnosed with a medical condition or are undergoing treatment, make the decision to proceed with a depilation treatment after consulting your physician.
- COURSE OF WAX DEPILATION AND POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
- Wax depilation may cause skin irritation which, with proper care, should subside after a few days. In some cases, depending on the individual health condition and sensitivity of the skin, Wax Depilation, despite being performed correctly, may cause sores, scars, pustules, skin allergies and other skin diseases.
- Small bruises may also occur as a result of the waxing procedure, especially in people with delicate or sensitive skin prone to burst blood vessels. This phenomenon is physiological and does not constitute improper performance of the Service.
- In order to make the Treatment more comfortable, our staff may ask you during the depilation to help them stretch your skin.
- Bikini depilation is more invasive than depilation of other body parts, so when the skin is tanned (e.g. after a tanning bed), more sensitive (e.g. after a sauna) or particularly irritated for other reasons, epidermis breakage or burning may occur during Brazilian depilation.
- Also, epidermal breakage may occur when depilating all parts of the body, which may be the result of an abnormal skin condition or the nature of the hair. This is not necessarily the result of improperly performed depilation.
- The durability and effectiveness of the wax depilation effect depend on individual characteristics (e.g. hormonal balance, hair thickness and density) and external factors (e.g. season, level of sun exposure). During the summer, when hair growth is more intense, the effect may last for a shorter period.
- High summer temperatures can exacerbate post-treatment skin reactions (redness, irritation), especially in sensitive areas such as the bikini area. Take this factor into account when planning your appointment.
- Remember that you must not epilate yourself (in the treatment box) or touch the heater, as there is a risk of burning yourself.
- After your intimate area depilation treatment is complete, lubricate your skin yourself with the oil or lotion indicated by the staff.
- Contraindications to body wax depilation treatment:
- Hair that is too short/too long
- Your skin is irritated after tanning beds, sunbathing or cosmetic or medical treatments;
- Your skin on the part of the body to be depilated is oily with lotion or oil, making it impossible to perform Wax Depilation;
- Your skin appearance indicates conditions or wounds (ringworm, psoriasis, AD), etc.
- you do not follow the rules of preparation for the treatment (e.g. hygiene rules or the length of your hair is inappropriate) or you do not follow the beautician’s instructions during the treatment
- you are in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and do not wax your bikini area regularly, i.e. every 40 to max 60 days. This is due to the hormonal changes during pregnancy, which can make you more prone to skin infections and epidermal damage.
- RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER WAX DEPILATION
- You can perform skin peeling at the earliest four days after the Treatment.
- Avoid excessive exercise for two days to avoid inflammation and irritation.
- Avoid antiperspirants and alcohol-based perfumes for four days after the Underarm Depilation Treatment to avoid skin irritation and discolouration.
- You can use the sauna and swimming pool two days after the treatment, and the solarium five days after the treatment.
- If you observe skin reactions that are not listed in the Regulations, please contact the Salon.
LASER TREATMENTS – DEPILATION AND PHOTOREJUVENATION
- RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE LASER DEPILATION AND ELIGIBILITY
- Prior to any Laser Depilation treatment, our staff will carry out a written eligibility for the Treatment, including verifying your skin phototype.
- The use of Laser Depilation has its own contraindications. We divide these into periodic contraindications and permanent contraindications:
Temporary contraindications
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Fever;
- Use of antibiotics, especially from the tetracycline and fluoroquinolone group,
- Bacterial or viral infection (e.g. active herpes),

- Use of retinol ointments (topical retinoids) at the treatment site – one month must have passed since the end of treatment to perform the treatment;
- Photosensitising medicines (e.g. medicines with ibuprofen, medicines like urosept, urofuragin), photosensitising herbs e.g. St John’s wort or calendula;
- Injection in the treatment area;
- Alcohol (drank 24 hours before the planned procedure);

- Use of light sensitising cosmetics (including those with AHA and BHA acids);
- Very dry, hypersensitive skin;
- Freshly tanned skin;
- Use of cosmetics containing shiny particles/glitter and their residues left on the skin.
Permanent contraindications - Epilepsy;
- Diabetes;
- Cancer;
- Ischaemic heart disease;
- Blood clotting disorders;
- Viral hepatitis;
- Autoimmune diseases such as lupus, scleroderma, vitiligo, psoriasis;
- Dermatological skin diseases, e.g. photodermatosis, tendency to hyperpigmentation,

- Pigmented nevi (congenital and acquired located at the treatment site);
- Tattoos (at the treatment site and close to the treatment site);
- A tendency to scarring and keloids
- Hormonal and endocrine diseases that may result in excessive hair.
3. We always recommend consulting a physician before Laser depilation Treatment, but in the above cases in particular, consultation with a doctor and exclusion of contraindications to treatments is absolutely required.
4. Due to the key role of melanin (the pigment responsible for skin colour) for the effectiveness of laser epilation, treatment in a person with phototype I, V or IV is associated with a reduced effect.
The classification of phototypes is as follows:
- white skin, very light; red or blonde hair; blue eyes, freckles, as well as grey hair when it accounts for at least 10% of body hair
- white skin, pale; red or blond hair; blue, hazel or green eyes
- creamy white skin, pale; any eye or hair colour
- brown skin; typically Mediterranean
- dark brown skin; middle-eastern type of skin
- black skin
- The determination of the client’s phototype is based on an interview and the beautician’s assessment of the client’s skin, hair and eye colour at the time of the appointment.
- The following recommendations should be observed before the Laser Depilation treatment:
- no wax depilation, sugarpaste or tweezing should be carried out in the treatment area 4 to 6 weeks before the Treatment;
- strong peelings should not be used in the treatment area more than 2-3 weeks before the treatment;
- certain herbs (e.g. St. John’s wort, calendula) as well as certain dietary supplements and medicines (photosensitizing or those stimulating hair growth) should not be used during the period of the Treatments in the package;
- consumption of alcohol is prohibited (24 hours before the treatment);
- the treatment area should be depilated with a razor, leaving an unshaved area of 1cmx1 cm, for the assessment of the colour and thickness of the hair.
- If a series of Laser Depilation treatments are carried out, they should take place at strictly defined intervals to allow the best possible results. The recommended intervals between Laser Depilation treatments are 10 weeks for the parts covering the legs and 5 weeks on other parts of the body. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in significant worsening of treatment results and increased hair regrowth despite Laser Depilation treatments.
- Please note that Laser Depilation treatments do not result in the complete or permanent removal of hair, which may regrow at a rate and number that depends on the individual skin characteristics and health of the person being treated, as well as the application of post-treatment recommendations.
Should you have any questions, our staff will provide you with all the answers and guidance you need to achieve the best possible results tailored to your needs.
- POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF LASER DEPILATION
- Common side effects of the treatment are as follows: a slight erythema in the hair follicle area is visible after the treatment. If the hair was thick and dark, peri-follicular swelling may also occur. These effects are normal and last a few hours, rarely up to two days, and very rarely several weeks.
- In addition, the following rare side effects may occur:
- minor haematomas and dilated vessels that may occur despite a properly performed epilation procedure;
- blisters, scabs (usually heal within a week);
- pigmentation changes (mainly occur as a result of not using sun protection) and can last up to several months;
- dark hair may lose pigment and, as a result of lack of absorption, can no longer be removed by laser/light.
3. On the other hand, very rare side effects of the treatment can be:
- permanent changes in pigmentation and scarring;
- „paradoxical” hair growth, more common in patients with dark skin.
- RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER LASER DEPILATION
- In case of persistent discomfort, the area of the body subjected to Laser Depilation should be cooled independently at home
- Scabs may appear on sensitive skin and should not be touched until they exfoliate spontaneously.
- Do not expose the area of the body undergoing Laser Depilation to the sun or intense light (tanning bed) without protection for at least 6 weeks after the Treatment.
- Use sun cream (SPF50 or higher) if the treatment area is exposed to the sun.
- If you observe skin reactions that are not listed in the Regulations, please contact the Salon.
- PHOTOREJUVENATION
- The treatment in terms of contraindications, side effects, course of treatment and post-treatment recommendations is the same as for Laser Depilation – see sections 10-12 above for more information. In the case of hyperpigmentation lightening, existing spots may become temporarily darker.
EYE CONTOURING
- RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS BEFORE EYEBROW AND LASH STYLING
- Eyebrow and eyelash styling performed in Time for Wax salons includes selected treatments of colouring, styling and fixing the shape of eyelashes and eyebrows (lamination). Due to the professional chemical preparations used to perform them, it will not be possible to carry out the treatment if:

- Prior to the treatment, the beautician will carry out a written questionnaire with you covering the above points.
- Prior to your Styling treatment, you have the option of a no-fee allergy test. Carrying out the treatment without it means that you take responsibility for any allergy occurring as a result of the treatment.
- If your chosen treatment includes eyebrow geometry, this means that you agree to the shape of your eyebrows as determined by the stylist.
- INDICATIONS AFTER A BROW AND LASH STYLING TREATMENT
- After an eyebrow and eyelash lamination treatment it is absolutely forbidden to soak the eyebrows and eyelashes (washing with tonic / micellar lotion, make-up removal, steam baths, sauna, pouring water over the face and similar) for 24 hours after treatment. Failure to follow this recommendation may result in frizzy hair.
- For 24 hours after treatment, do not rub or knead the hair of the eyebrows or eyelashes they may deform.
- After treatments involving the eyebrows, take care to moisturise the skin under the eyebrow hair with dedicated products.
