Nose
Nose waxing – effective ways to get rid of hair
The problem of hair appearing on and inside the nose is a problem that affects both women and men. There are usually single, dark hairs on the nose, which, despite regular plucking, e.g. with tweezers, grow back thicker and stronger. This type of hair is ideal for removal with wax. This is an effective method that will help you get rid of the problem for several weeks. Additionally, the procedure itself is very quick and practically painless. Many of our clients say that removing hair from the surface of the nose is completely painless. Apart from the fact that sometimes hair may appear on the top of the nose, a much bigger and more troublesome problem is the hair that occurs inside the nasal cavity. However, in this case, waxing will work great and will allow you to quickly get rid of hair. This is a treatment that will provide you with a lot of comfort and make daily nasal hygiene easier, even for several weeks!
Myths about waxing – nose waxing
There are many myths about waxing, which are most often passed on by people who have had this form of hair removal done incorrectly and have had bad experiences with it. What are the most common myths passed around? The first one – waxing always hurts. This is of course untrue. The pain each of us feels depends entirely on various factors and is, in most cases, an individual matter. The first such factor is the pain threshold. Everyone has a different one. For some people, hair removal may be very painful, while for others it does not make any impression. It works similarly to tattoos. Some people feel pain during the entire process of making a pattern on the skin, and for others it is a minimal, imperceptible prick. In the case of hair removal, it is extremely important who performs the waxing. If it is a beautician who does not know how to properly perform the treatment, in which direction to pluck individual parts of hair and how to properly stretch the skin – then yes, the procedure may be more painful. Fortunately, Time for Wax employs beauticians who have undergone dozens of training courses and know exactly how to properly get rid of unwanted hair. So you can rest assured when you visit our showroom – the entire process will be carried out correctly, quickly and effectively. A rather interesting factor that few people know about, and which also influences the increased pain sensation, is what stage of the menstrual cycle you are at. If it is during menstruation or a few days before, when a woman’s body is more sensitive, it may be much larger.
Does waxing always end with irritation? This is another myth we want to debunk! Whether irritation occurs after hair removal depends largely on the person performing the procedure. It is extremely important to do it really well, i.e. stretch the skin correctly and remove hair in the direction in which they grow. Depilation of individual places is performed in batches. Unfortunately, not every salon pays attention to this. At Time for Wax, this is our priority because we know perfectly well how important it is to properly remove hair from the skin and how unpleasant irritations can occur. The condition of our skin is also very important. Let’s make sure that it is firm and properly moisturized during depilation. If it is excessively dry, it is very likely that irritation will appear. However, remember not to overdo it in the other direction. The skin should be moisturized, but not oiled. If we apply a fatty balm or oil just before depilation, the wax may not stick to the body and the depilation will not be as thorough.
Nose waxing – does the hair grow back weaker?
Yes, with regular waxing, hair grows back weaker, thinner, sparser and less visible. This is because the wax does not only remove the hair itself, but also its bulb, which leads to damage to the matrix itself. You can be sure that systematic depilation of selected areas of the body will make your hair weaker and weaker from month to month. This also applies to your hands, as there is a strange myth that waxing causes the hair on your arms to grow faster and darker. That’s not true!
