How to properly prepare for waxing?

First of all, the key element during every depilation, regardless of what part of the body we remove unwanted hair from, is the appropriate hair length. In our salon, we use two types of hair removal: the liquid wax method, which we remove from the skin using cotton strips, and Magic Wax, our own wax. In the first case, the minimum hair length should be at least 0.5 centimeters, and when using Magic Wax, the hair should be at least 1 centimeter long. If the hair on the back is longer, we recommend cutting it at home with your own scissors, as it will get tangled during waxing and tearing the strips off the body will be much more painful. In the case of large areas of the body, i.e. the back or chest, we recommend using liquid wax and removing it using strips made of 100% cotton. In our salon, hygiene is a priority. Our offices are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each client to ensure the greatest possible sterility, comfort and safety. The same applies to applying wax. We use disposable spatulas for application and each time we apply another layer of wax, the sticks are replaced with new ones. This is a very hygienic solution that gives our customers a guarantee of sterility and cleanliness.

A few days before the treatment, it is worth performing a coarse-grained peeling, which will help get rid of dead, calloused epidermis. We know perfectly well that performing peeling on your own in such a hard-to-reach place as the back is not easy. That’s why we recommend that you ask someone for help, for example your significant other. The skin should also be properly moisturized, because a smooth and elastic body is much easier to depilate and the chance of irritation is minimal. You should also remember not to use the solarium or sunbathe before the treatment. Freshly tanned skin is irritated, often sore and has a greater tendency to develop unpleasant irritations. Immediately after the procedure, you must not use the swimming pool or sauna and avoid situations when your body sweats. We recommend going to the gym or jogging only after at least two days. Waxing will help you get rid of the problem of unwanted hair for several weeks, and the procedure itself is performed quickly and effectively.
