The office is carefully prepared each time – cleaned and disinfected so that it is ready to welcome a new client. During our work, we use disposable products – masks and gloves. Additionally, we depilate using disposable spatulas and we follow one rule: „one application of wax – one new spatula”. That’s why we can use up to several dozen of them during the treatment!

Belly waxing – what does the first hair removal treatment at Time for Wax look like?

First of all, before you come to the office, you need to take care of your skin. It must be properly moisturized. If it is too dry, depilation may cause irritation, rupture of blood vessels and bruising. The skin also cannot be excessively oiled. Before depilation, do not use highly moisturizing oils, balms and olives, because the wax will not stick to your skin properly, and the depilation will not be as effective and thorough. The day before the treatment, thoroughly exfoliate all the parts that will be depilated. This will not only help you get rid of calluses and exfoliate dead skin, but will also „reveal” the hair, which will become much more susceptible to depilation itself. The hair to be depilated should be of appropriate length. If you use Magic Wax for waxing, the optimal hair length is approximately 1 centimeter. In the case of strip liquid wax, it is best for the hair to be about 0.5 centimeters long.

Immediately after your arrival, the beautician will ask you a few questions. First of all, there will be a question about the treatment you will decide on. The beautician will also ask what type of wax you would like to be depilated with. The next step is to determine whether you are allergic to any of the ingredients found in our waxes. We do this for your safety because we want to avoid allergic reactions that could occur on the skin. It is also important whether you are not taking medications containing retinol. Unfortunately, they exclude you from the procedure. During your first visit, you also receive a form in which you consent to hair removal. We may also collect personal data from you so that you can participate in our loyalty program and collect points for free hair removal treatments.
