How is the neckline photorejuvenation treatment performed?

Photo rejuvenation of the neckline begins with thoroughly cleansing the skin of cosmetic remnants and other impurities that could hinder the penetration of laser light. Then a special cooling gel is applied to the neckline. It facilitates the conduction of laser light and also has cooling properties. This minimizes discomfort and protects against excessive heating. In the next stage, the beautician uses a laser, positioning it about 10 cm from the body surface. This heats the skin to about 50 degrees Celsius. As blood vessels dilate and blood flow increases, the skin becomes red. Erythema may also occur.

In the next step of photorejuvenation, the laser head is placed directly on the body. This allows the light to reach the deeper layers of the skin. There it causes controlled micro-damage to tissues that stimulate natural regenerative mechanisms. The production of collagen and elastin is also activated, i.e. proteins necessary to maintain skin firmness and elasticity. During the treatment, the patient may feel slight warmth or burning, which is a natural effect of the laser. The beautician constantly monitors the skin’s reaction and adjusts the device settings to ensure maximum comfort and safety for the patient. The entire procedure usually takes 20 to 30 minutes.  After treatment, the skin may be slightly red and irritated. These side effects are usually short-lived and disappear within a few hours to a few days.
