Waxing to the underwear line – the most important information about the procedure

What should you know about underwear line waxing?

What does underwear line waxing look like?

Hair removal starts with a consultation. During it, we get to know the client’s needs – we ask where to remove the hair and whether some of it should remain. We exclude contraindications to hair removal and ask you to prepare for the procedure – remove your clothes and assume an appropriate position. The person performing hair removal instructs how to proceed in a specific situation. At the same time, he takes care of the client’s comfort, being aware of the intimate nature of the treatment. We recommend that customers remember that we are hair removal specialists. We do not judge the body, but we do our job – as thoroughly and precisely as possible.

The next step is to prepare the skin for depilation. It must be cleaned – sebum or residues of care products may reduce the adhesion of the wax and its effectiveness. The warm wax is then applied in a thin layer to the skin. A piece of material is placed on it. When the wax hardens after a while, the material is torn off. At this point you may feel slight discomfort, but don’t worry – it will pass after a while. In the next step, care, moisturizing and soothing agents are applied to the skin.

When is it recommended to wax down to your underwear line? 

Epilation should always be performed for your own comfort, hygiene and sense of aesthetics. Generally, men like to undergo the treatment in summer, when high temperatures promote excessive sweating. Then hair removal helps with hygiene and ensures comfort during physical activity or everyday activities. 

How quickly does hair grow back after waxing? 

The rate of hair regrowth after laser hair removal depends on the individual’s predispositions. In some people it happens faster and with greater intensity (thick hair), and in others it happens much slower. Typically, the hair remains invisible for several weeks. After the first treatment, it grows back the fastest, but with each subsequent depilation it grows slower. 

Can waxing be done all year round? 

Waxing is a gentle treatment for the skin in intimate areas. It can be performed all year round – also in summer, when the skin is exposed to intense sunlight. No special recovery time is required after the procedure. However, it is worth avoiding cosmetics that could cause irritation (e.g. those containing alcohol).
