• Compared to shaving, waxing causes less irritation and ingrown hairs. Therefore, it is more comfortable. 
• Smooth skin in intimate areas helps maintain hygiene – especially in the summer, when sweat collects on the hair, which may cause unpleasant odor and discomfort.

Preparation for waxing of intimate areas

Before waxing, the skin is properly prepared: cleansed and degreased. Then we apply warm wax to the skin, place a strip of fabric and quickly remove the wax along with the hairs. The treatment may cause temporary discomfort when picking. However, the feeling should pass quickly. Importantly, you should not shave before coming for a hair removal treatment. Otherwise, the wax will not be able to stick to the hair and remove it. It is also not recommended to apply any agents to the treatment area – especially lubricants. It is better to postpone care until after the procedure. 

We apply moisturizing and soothing agents to the slightly irritated skin after depilation. They help get rid of the feeling of irritation and discomfort. In the first days after hair removal, a minimalist approach to care is recommended. It is best to use gentle products with natural ingredients to avoid irritation.

They must be informed about them before the employee starts performing the procedure. If you suspect that you may have an allergic reaction to the wax, ask for a skin test – applying a small amount of the product, e.g. on your hand.

By depilating different areas of the body in one visit, you save time. Subsequent procedures will also take place at a similar time due to the pace of hair growth, so in the future you will not have to go to the salon, e.g. several times a month, in different weeks.
